Travel Time: 23 miles from Los Angeles International Airport; travel time is approximately 50 minutes. 12 miles from Long Beach Airport; travel time is approximately 20 minutes.

Traveling from the Los Angeles area (North)

  • Take the 405 Freeway south.
  • Take the 710 Freeway south.
  • Continue on the 710 Freeway south and follow the signs for the Queen Mary.
  • At the entrance to the Queen Mary, stay to the far right of the parking ticket taker for the Queen Mary; this lane is the entrance to the Long Beach Cruise terminal.
  • Follow the signs for Passenger Parking and Luggage Drop-Off area.

Traveling from the San Diego area (South)

  • Take I-5 north.
  • Take the 405 Freeway north.
  • Take the 710 Freeway south.
  • Continue on the 710 Freeway south and follow the signs for the Queen Mary.
  • At the entrance to the Queen Mary, stay to the far right of the parking ticket taker for the Queen Mary; this lane is the entrance to the Long Beach Cruise terminal.
  • Follow the signs for Passenger Parking and Luggage Drop-Off area.

Parking: $17.00 per day (Rates subject to change)

  • 5-Story, 1450 space parking garage.
  • Full payment due upon exiting the parking garage.
  • Handicap Parking available with proof of valid permit.
  • Accepted forms of payment: U.S Dollars; major credit cards.
  • No advance reservations required.
  • Oversized vehicles will be charged per parking space.
  • Due to height restrictions in the garage, RV’s may have to utilize the adjacent outdoor parking facilities.

Cruiseline Transfers

Please contact the cruiseline directly for transfers to and from the airport.  Transfers to and from the hotel are normally not available.

Day of Embarkation:  Meet and Greet Service / Motor Coach Service / Purchase of Transfers

  • Guests arriving at the airport that have pre-purchased transfers with Carnival are to proceed to the baggage claim area and claim their luggage where a Carnival Rep (carrying a CCL hand-held sign for visibility) will be located and able to assist guests with their transfer; at Long Beach Airport, Carnival Reps (carrying a CCL hand-held sign for visibility) can be located outside the main airport entrance (in front of Baggage Claim area #1).     
  • Transfer service begins at approximately the following times and based on flight arrivals; motor coaches will not leave the airport until an adequate number of guests have arrived, approximately every 20-30 minutes.

Ø  Los Angeles International Airport (LAX):  10:00am
Ø  Long Beach Airport (LGB):  9:00am
Ø  John Wayne Airport (SNA):  9:30am

  • For those guests who have pre-purchased transfers, the Transfer company and telephone number is printed on the guest’s e-Doc. Refer the guest to this telephone number if they are not able to locate a Carnival Rep.
  • One-way transfers can be purchased at the airport up until the latest flight arrival time (listed above); the Carnival Rep will be located in the baggage claim area. Cash payment is not accepted; the transfers are charged directly to the guest’s Sail & Sign Account.

 Day of Debarkation:  Purchase of Transfers / Motor Coach Service

  • One-way transfers to the airport can be purchased on board at the Guest Services Desk for guests who did not previously purchase the transfers. Guests who elect to wait and purchase one-way transfers at curbside may be subject to higher prices.
  • Transfer service begins at approximately 8:00am; motor coaches will not leave the cruise terminal until an adequate number of guests are on board, approximately every 20-30 minutes.
